Argon welder wanted in Butte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Butte County, California. The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
