Horizontal milling machine operator — Lauderdale County

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Lauderdale County, Mississippi. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters 3+ years on the tools preferred.
