Restoration bricklayer — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Jackson County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
