Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Giles County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
