Restoration bricklayer • Lubbock County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Lubbock County, Texas. The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
