Earthmoving plant operator — Echols County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Echols County, Georgia. The job is in an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Part-time with flexible hours. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
