Lift installation engineer — Louisa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Louisa County, Iowa. The job is at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
