Gardener — Monroe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gardener in Monroe County, New York. You will be based in a public park. You should have: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance On the job you will handle: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings We offer $140 per day plus benefits.
