Fabricator-welder — Chambers County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chambers County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
