Shakeout operator wanted in Abeokuta South

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Abeokuta South, Ogun State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles 2+ years on the tools preferred.
