Power press operator wanted in Powell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Powell County, Kentucky. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses 1+ years on the tools preferred.
