Brick and block layer — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Madison County, Arkansas. You will work on a new-build development. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation.
