Lathe programmer-operator — Kemper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Kemper County, Mississippi. The job is in a job-work machining unit. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Part-time with flexible hours.
