Sample machinist — Mahnomen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Full-time with occasional weekends.
