Landscape gardener — Alger County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Alger County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
