Port container crane operator — Mercer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Mercer County, Missouri. Day to day you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 6+ years on the tools preferred. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
