UPVC window fitter — El Paso County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in El Paso County, Colorado. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it You should have: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
