Pipe tig welder — Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Clay County, Georgia. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 2+ years on the tools preferred.
