Rough terrain crane operator — Buckingham County

Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Buckingham County, Virginia. The job is on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals Rotating shifts.
