Banksman — Crawford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Crawford County, Georgia. You will be based at a power plant. The role involves: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
