Now hiring: packaging machine operator (Oregon)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Coos County, Oregon. The job is in a CNC machine shop. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Day to day you will measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
