Steam press operator — Refugio County

Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Refugio County, Texas. Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
