Lathe programmer-operator • Gaines County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Gaines County, Texas. Day to day you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
