Groundskeeper — Ards and North Down

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines Full-time with occasional weekends.
