Furniture maker — Buchanan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Buchanan County, Iowa. The job is in a cabinet-making workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
