Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
