Mechanical press operator wanted in Moultrie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Moultrie County, Illinois. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor.
