We are recruiting: we are hiring a press operator in Braxton County, West Virginia. You will be based on the press shop floor. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
