Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Klickitat County, Washington. The job is in a CNC machine shop. The role involves report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
