Power press operator wanted in Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Jefferson County, Texas. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Rotating shifts.
