Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Caroline County, Maryland. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Overtime paid at a premium rate.
