Great opportunity: we are hiring a deboner in Monroe County, Arkansas. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
