VMC operator — Kalawao County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Kalawao County, Hawaii. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
