MIG/MAG welder — Bracken County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Bracken County, Kentucky. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
