Die-casting operator wanted in Logan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Logan County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
