Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Shelby County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
