Argon arc welder wanted in Warren County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Warren County, New York. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
