Vacancy available: backhoe operator (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. You will be based on a housing development site. The role involves work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
