Join our team: we are hiring an oven operator in Howell County, Missouri. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens On the job you will handle: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
