Gas service engineer — St. Clair County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in St. Clair County, Missouri. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day to day you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
