Moulder — Duval County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Duval County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes.
