Flatlock machine operator — Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Union County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Six days a week, one day off. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
