Pressman — Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Hamilton County, Illinois. The role involves: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Rotating shifts. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
