Bricklayer • Mbatoli, Imo State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Mbatoli, Imo State. You will be based on a new-build development. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦155,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
