The role involves: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 3+ years on the tools preferred.
