Plant operator — Smith County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Smith County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
