Catering cook — Obi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a catering cook in Obi, Nasarawa State. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦4,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
