Fabricator-welder — Shira

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Shira, Bauchi State. Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
