Shuttering fixer — Buckinghamshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Buckinghamshire, England. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting.
