Immediate opening: painter and decorator (Arkansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Conway County, Arkansas. The job is on commercial fit-out projects. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec The role involves: • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
